Interactive Youth
Earlier this week, Anne Hong, Andrew Schneider, Nick Sears and I set up the Interactive Youth exhibit at the Material Connexion. The Material Connexion is an amazing resource for anyone doing anything that has a physical presence. The show looks amazing! If you are in the area of 25th St., stop by and take a look! Anne has taken a few pix and posted them to her Flickr account. The Alphabet Machine is on display and has been rebuilt to be more robust in its new temporary home. If you look closely, in the photo to the left you can make out the Mutherboards in the background.Labels: shows materialconnexion alphabet machine mutherboard
Mitch Headburg on Usability
One of my favorite comedians of all time is the late Mitch Headburg. I remember vividly hearing the news of his death and thinking that this was some kind of Andy Kaufman hoax. While listen to Mitch's CD yesterday it occurred to me that his Vending Machine bit is really about poor usability. Take a listen. I strongly encourage you to buy a CD in his memory.
