Alphabet Machine

The Alphabet Machine enables viewers to see and hear the rhythm and pentameter of the digital text. In this physical visualization, wooden type blocks (from a printing press) move up and down as the digital text comes into the device. Back on it with post 100

The ITP Spring Show went off last night without a hitch. Now that the projects for the show are complet and I've gotten some sleep, I'm back to bring you more opinionated writings about my life, New York, technology and design.

If you're in New York come to the Spring Show! You, yes, you have been personally invited. So I hope to see you there. I have two pieces of work in the show and there many interesting things to be seen.

Tonight I'll be shooting some documentation video. Check back soon for the full documentation and footage.

And... this is post 100. Go ahead, count em. Don't really know what that means, but I'm guessing its a good thing. Yea, I'm pretty sure of it. See you tonight!

Progress

Dear Readers,

I known you hate me for neglecting you but its the end of the semester adn things are moving forward very quickly. Through the late nights and long days I haven't had time to keep up with email, sleep, or document anything. But hey, you can't stop progress, right? Things are falling into place. Two projects will be in the Spring Show; the Alphabet machine and the Light Box. If you'd like to read more about the Light Box and our presentation to Mattel earlier this week you can do so on the documentation site. That's all for now. Regular posting will resume after the show next week (when I can breath and sleep again). Hope your doing well.

Love,
-Michael
