New York can't make a Taco
Needless to say going from multiple speaking events, directly to finals week, and then the Winter Show, made truth of the expression 'out of the frying pan, into the fire and burned to a crisp'.The ITP Winter Show went really well. This time around the only project I had in the show was the Teleobjective project completed with Andrew Schneider. The installation was composted of five, had made, black and white, television objects. The repurpose television screens were installed as a lighting system where visitors could control the image on the screen using the adjacent pull chain. There were may great projects at the show this year. Here are a few links:

I'm on the road this week, in Chicago right now actually. There is something to be said about what you miss when you leave a place. Food is something I definitely enjoy wherever I go. One thing that has bothered me about my migration to New York is that lack of quality Mexican food. I can take the noise and dirt on the streets but come on, the tacos are amazingly sub-par and I can't stand it. I wont stand it. I'll wait until I'm at La Pasadita. More photos from my ongoing travels are on my Flickr account.
