Karim / Links / And Paper Envy

Yesterday, while walking around Chelsea, Tricia and I stumbled upon Karim Rashid's store front. Until recently, I never payed attention to Karim Rashid. I think all the hype turned me off. However, now I find myself captivated by the playful designs. I was expecting a Karim Rashid paperclip to cost a hundred dollars, but I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonable his products are. I had no idea how far reaching his work has become.

Some interesting links surfaced from the ITP list serve:

A clip of Kanye telling it how it is on live television.

And, a talking squirrel

Today, I put the Paper Envy web site into test. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Comments:
I looked at the Paper Envy site. The gallery is a bit small - there wasn't antyhing to draw my attention to taking a closer look at the invitations - is there any way to make the thumbnails larger? Or a large image of one as an example ?

Actually, you can click on the thumbnails. They get larger. And you get multiple views of each piece.

Was this not working? Or, was this not obviouse by the mouse over? It coul be a pontial usability issue if it's not a obviouse piece of functionality. Either way, I can still do something about because we're in test. Thanks for the feedback.
